How the test works
Start an attempt and wait. After a random 1.5–5 second delay, the panel turns violet and displays “Click now!” Respond with a click, tap, Space or Enter.
Early responses do not count. Complete five valid attempts to see your average, fastest and slowest times. Leaving the tab or moving focus away during an attempt cancels that attempt.
Why five attempts?
A single result can vary. A short series gives you an average alongside the range of times in your session, without turning a small sample into a claim about your ability.
Make comparisons useful
How can I keep conditions consistent?
Use the same device, display and input method. Avoid comparing touch, keyboard and mouse sessions as if their latency were identical. Close busy background applications.
Is a faster time always better?
Within comparable conditions, a smaller time means a faster recorded response. It does not measure decision-making, tracking or game sense. We don’t assign ranks from these results.
Where is my personal best stored?
Only in this browser’s local storage. It is the lowest average from a completed five-attempt session. Clearing browser data removes it; no account or synchronization is involved.
